Abstract

Women's roles in agriculture are diverse and crucial, playing a key part in boosting food production, sustainability, and community strength. All over the world, women participate in various agricultural activities, from planting and harvesting to managing livestock and processing food. Research shows that women handle a significant amount of agricultural work, especially in developing nations where they contribute hugely to food production. Unfortunately, their contributions are often limited by socio-cultural norms that hinder their access to land ownership and financial resources. This lack of access doesn't just diminish their productivity; it also impacts the economic growth of the agricultural sector as a whole. Acknowledging and appreciating women's roles in agriculture is vital for fostering gender equality and strengthening agricultural systems worldwide.
