Abstract
This study explores the correlations between bullying, body image, and eating disorders in the LGBTQA community with a sample of 30 individuals. It found a positive correlation between bullying and eating disorders (r = 0.33), but not statistically significant (p = 0.7492). Similarly, bullying correlated positively with body image (r = 0.30), also not significant (p = 0.107). In contrast, a significant negative correlation was found between eating disorders and body image (r = -0.13, p = 0.049), indicating that individuals with severe eating disorders often have negative body image perceptions. The findings highlight the need for further research with larger samples to better understand these relationships.
